COVID-19: National Lockdown in England

As of 5th January 2021 new national lockdown rules apply in England. The Government advice is to stay at home.

Builders merchants have been classed as essential retail and allowed to stay open along with supermarkets and chemists. Tradespeople can also continue to work in other people’s homes whilst adhering to Covid secure guidelines. Over the last nine months Home Improvement Agencies have continued to deliver vital home adaptations services supporting vulnerable, elderly and disabled people to stay safe, warm and independent in their own homes. Home Improvement Agency services, such as adaptations, can continue during the national lockdown period in line with Covid secure guidelines.
