Advice for older people – contact FirstStop for Advice
FirstStop for Advice is an independent, free service provided by the national charity Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC) in partnership with other local and national organisations.
The service is for older people, their families and carers. It aims to help you get the help or care you need to live as independently and comfortably as possible.
Age UK - Information and Advice Publications
Age UK have produced a range of information guides and factsheets to help you deal with some of the challenges faced in later life. The information is impartial, easy to understand and free of charge.
Advice from Independent Age
Independent Age provide information and a national advice service for older people, their families and carers.
View their range of up-to-date information factsheets on the most common issues faced by older people, such as benefits and entitlements, moving into a care home, paying for care and much more.

Advice UK is the co-ordinating body for independent advice-providing organisations. Their website contains a directory of advice providers across the UK.
